Demographic Characteristics of Patients Admitted to Private Hospital Emergency Service

Aim: Increasing the productivity of emergency services is only possible with documentation and analysis data on provided. In this study, we aimed to evaluate demographic characteristics patients admitted unit using a computer-based patient registry system. Materials Methods: 33,886 outpatients between 01.09.2017 31.08.2019 were retrospectively analyzed. Demographic patients, main complaints, time admission, triage classification, International Classification Diseases diagnosis codes evaluated. Results: Among unit, 58% males 42% females. A total 43% 0-12 months age, 21% 1-5 years 15% 28-39 9% 40-64 age. total, 39% due upper respiratory tract diseases. Of 95,42% treated in outpatient setting. The highest admission rates December January. rate was Sunday, while least Wednesday Thursday. period 20:00–00:00, 04:00–08:00. Conclusion: Our study results show that supportive measures for healthcare professionals including specialists medical equipment should be provided, particular at weekends, winter seasons, when overall increases. Based these results, suggest can contribute physical labor force planning units.
